Private Yoga classes for groups and individuals

Interdisciplinary Yoga classes : Yoga aims at attaining a stable mind and a healthy body, so that personal goals may be achieved. The regular practice of yoga has been scientifically proven to improve the efficiency of the cardiovascular, nervous, digestive, reproductive, and glandular systems as well as the commonly experienced symptoms of stress, muscular tension and chronic fatigue. As a qualified  health professional I take into account any health conditions you might have. I will guide you through a 1 hour long practice focusing on correct breathing and body mechanics.                                                    

Cost per class for 1 - 6 participants : $ 60 - for larger groups, please inquire

Location : High road to playa Pelada, follow signs for Physical Therapy Nosara.

Yoga classes are open to anyone with a desire to practice Interdisciplinary Hatha Yoga, experienced or beginner.

Wear loose fitting clothing or aerobic type of workout wear and bring water and a towel. We provide Yoga Mats.

It is wise not to have a large meal at least 2 hours before practicing Yoga. Avoid cold drinks at all times. The internal organs must work overtime to warm up the liquid before it can be digested and utilized by the body. Drink at least one glass of room temperature water after your workout. And take a swim in the ocean.

Don´t push yourself to exhaustion.

Slow down and remember to BREATHE.

If an exercise causes you pain, refrain from doing it and ask the teacher for advice.

Women on their period should take it easy and avoid inverted poses (shoulderstand,...)

Let the teacher know about any health considerations (high blood pressure, illness, recent injury, chronic pain, ...)
