Doctor Coach Courses - Natural Medicine
Tronko (Javi Ferrer) is a Licensed Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor (since 1999) originally from Spain. He has lived and studied with many indigenous healers in Mexico and Costa Rica and through his 20 years of practice he has created a blend Chinese and American natural therapeutic techniques geared toward healing and improving the body.
Tronko believes that anyone can heal and maintain a healthy human machine with natural medicine. He helps anyone willing to learn, to heal themselves. A consultation with Tronko includes time to understand the root or ‘nature’ of an illness, acupuncture (when appropriate), and remedies or Therapeutic Kung Fu exercises to do at home to increase healing.
He offers consultations and wellness coaching. Consultations are one and a half (1.5) hours $80 at Nosara Wellness Center. Follow up visits (when necessary are $60 one (1) hour. Consultations address illness or “disease” in the body to help you recover when you are not feeling your best. Wellness coaching helps when you are feeling good to achieve even better health, more strength and control over your emotions; to be your best.
We also offer a wellness special for $50 on Tuesday called “Feeling Good Tuesday.” Every week we choose an acupuncture technique designed to improve health. Techniques increase lung power, activate regeneration in joints, or balance digestive energies. Also, watch for Natural Medicine courses and Therapeutic Kung Fu and Breathwork retreats.
What is Natural Medicine?
Tronko offers a holistic approach to healing, which means he takes mind, body and spirit in consideration then focuses on improving the body’s ability to heal itself. He uses the 5 elements model to understand the “imbalance” within the body and diagnose “dis-ease” then recommends herbs or plant remedies (easy to find in the grocery store), acupuncture or Therapeutic Kung fu exercises to strength and heal the body.
What are effective home remedies?
Tronko recommends effective home remedies that use kitchen herbs and plants to heal many common ailments. The idea is to use food as medicine.
*Using natural medicine takes time and energy- to make home remedies and heal using plants requires consistency and commitment to heal.
How do you use breathwork?
The last piece of the puzzle: eat well, understand how to heal the body, exercise and breath good; these are the pieces that assure good health. Tronko learned this breathwork technique from Ashley Ludman it is an amazing tool to release blockages and as a way of diagnosis.
