What is Therapeutic Kung Fu? As a natural medicine doctor and Kung Fu practitioner Tronko, (Javi Ferrer), created Therapeutic Kung Fu to activate healing within the body and provide the necessary exercises to be healthy and strong. TKF blends practices from Shaolin Monks with other martial arts to create a unique movement technique that is medicine. Postures and rhythmic patterns activate regeneration in the joints and strengthen and align the spine. The movements also help balance and canalize energy or emotions and are good for releasing anger or anxiety and build confidence. Therapeutic Kung Fu is good for anyone healing a sports injury or experiencing limitations with movements in the joints, back or neck.
